The firm was created at the beginning of 2005 by Jean-Emmanuel Kuntz. In the field of restructuring, Jean-Emmanuel is both a theorist - he has written numerous books and articles on the subject in collaboration with eminent Law professors - and a practitioner.

For example, he implemented the first conciliation proceeding in 2006 enacted by the safeguard law and in 2008, a pan European restructuration involving France, Italy, Belgium and Poland and further more in 2015, prepack cession proceedings, in 2020, a safeguard procedure with adoption in committees of a 15 year- plan and, since 2022, several debt restructuring operations particularly in bonuses guaranteed-government loan schemes (PGE).
